
The Sharjah property expo, known as Acres 2026, reportedly saw significant growth in real estate activity, with total property transactions exceeding Dh5 billion. A growth rate of 17 per cent was recorded compared to the previous edition, reflecting rising demand within the local property market.
The increase in sales was primarily attributed to the Sharjah Executive Council’s decision to reduce real estate registration fees by 50 per cent for deals completed during the exhibition. As a result, higher investor participation and visitor turnout were observed.
The exhibition was organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with relevant real estate authorities. More than 18,000 visitors were recorded, while over 120 exhibitors participated.
